Game pass / buy game

hello,

we have a little isseu with a game, we first played it on the gamepass but that has run out, now we bought the game and on one account it wil not run dircetly and keeps displaying that we need to upgrade game pass. when in the account where it is installed
it keeps kicking us out with same massage, or sometimes just kicking one of us out.

Am I the only one?

I rented it and the game has an online pass. I can only play single player unless I buy the game or buy the online pass. (No way would I ever buy an online pass) So I wouldnt know. lol

Hi! Performing a hard reset/power cycle might help in this case: Restart or Power Cycle Xbox One Console

If above didn't work it's also worth a try to remove your profile and add it again afterwards in order to force the console to check for your licenses: Add or Remove a Microsoft Account on Xbox One

 

You need to make sure that you have removed the game pass from your account. It is reading it as you still have a subscription that just needs to renewed

Paul from Xbox Forums Team here to help with the issue, based on the information posted above if the troubleshooting steps from the ambassadors don't resolve the issue on thing I suggest doing is a

Soft Factory Reset. Be sure to choose the option that says keep my games & apps. Please check out the article for the steps on how to perform a soft factory reset. Please let us know if this helps resolve the issue. Thank you!

i contacted microsoft and the came with the anser:

I see, if that was the case, M. Since the game license was redeemed on the account
" Ci " that means that it was already registered
on this account but there has no need to worry as you can still enable game sharing.



That means that you will set the account as home " Ci " on the
" M console so that way it will shared to his account and M
can access the game though game sharing. How was
that sound?
