Game pass blocking me from playing games I own on disk

I've deleted the game pass version of both games. It will not even begin to install off disk. All other games work. This was an issue with PUBG for months. I just purchased Sea of thieves yesterday and haven't had it on my system in months. I put the disc
in nothing happens. But before that I had the same issue with PUBG. I deleted the gamepass version and went to install it off the disc I just bought and it would not recognize the disc

I have already deleted PUBG and Sea of thieves. My game pass subscription has been canceled. I put the disc in and nothing happens for either game. I try another game that I own that I've never downloaded on gamepass and it loads right up. I've tried multiple
games they all work except for these two games that I once had on gamepass. There is obviously some kind of licensing issue going on. Where it's looking for the gamepass license even though I deleted the game and I have the disk.

Well that's the issue I can't play it at all. I can't install the game off the disc. Put the disc in and nothing happens, I can hear it running the disc it just never starts up. Every other game works. It only does it with the two games I had downloaded
through gamepass that are no longer all my system. Nor do I have gamepass anymore

Since is two different versions of game I wonder about save game in the cloud. But, it is better to play it, than not be able to play it at all.

Hey there. The one thing im thinking of is that its trying to run the game pass version even though the disk is in the system. Take the disk out, delete EVERYTHING associated with sea of thieves in the console, then reinstall from the disk and see if that
works
