Game pass being picky

So I wanted to play some fable and even with the disc for fable 3 it doesn't work. Husband has it via game pass on the console so I thought I'd try Jurassic world Evolution 2 since it's game pass only. That loaded but now we're discovering some of the others that say game pass won't work even if we try putting in their hard copy as well.

Is there something like game switches happening on the game pass? We're really getting stumped here.

List of game pass that won't play:

Undertale

Wolfenstein

Fable 1-3

Second Extinction

Doom

Doom 2

List of working on game pass

Jurassic world Evolution 2

Doom eternal

Fallout 3 and Vagas

Halos

Elder Scrolls

Wolfenstein 2

Back 4 blood

Again we're just curious why some won't work with or without hard copies and why others seem fine. Please let me know if any listed are being phased out.

What error code are you receiving when you try to run the games? (Is strange that the issue happens even with a physical copy)
Also, this happening on Xbox, right?
Which one do you have?
Or is this happening on more than one console?

And, which troubleshooting steps you have done so far to fix this problem?
In that way I can advise you different things or how to proceed

On balance, if you consider an outlay of 69p as wasted because of a possible temporary Live or internet outage I'd agree....you're being far too picky ; ) Lol
