Game pass app remote installation not working

I tried to install game remotely for the game pass quests and i get the message "couldn't find any devices". set up a console is not working on settings. It worked last month. It doesn't work on Xbox app as well.

I have ticked remote installation on console settings.

If you are on the xbox app the easiest way to have your console connected with the app is to make sure your app and the xbox is connected to the same wireless network.

It is. It worked fine in the past. I haven't changed any settings. I only update the app on the recent version.

Make sure your PC is on and connected to a network. Your PC must be turned on and connected to the internet for remote install to work.

Note If the PC is in Sleep mode, offline, or shut down, the game will not begin downloading. If in Sleep mode or offline, the game will be added to the download queue and begin once the PC is woken up or reconnected to the internet. If the
PC was shut down, the game will not be added to the download queue until the next time you install another game. If the PC is shut down during the install, the game will continue upon restart.
Make sure you’re signed in to your PC with the same Microsoft account as your Xbox Live account.

Note If multiple users are signed in to the PC when a remote install is started, you may see a “401 Unauthorized” error message. You can try again later or wait until you’re physically on the device.
Make sure you’re signed in to the Xbox (Beta) and Microsoft Store apps with the same Microsoft account as your Xbox Live account. Note that the apps don’t need to be running.

Hi there if you are wanting to remote install games on the game pass download the game pass app as the xbox app does not do this. As for it not loading things there are known connection issues that will hopefully resolved soon. Hope you are safe and well
in these trying times.

How you fix it?

The problem is the Game Pass App on Windows even if Microsoft won't admit it.

If you use the Game Pass App on your phone, it will allow you to "remote" install the games on your PC. Just make sure to select PC games tab otherwise it will assume you're trying to install on an Xbox console.
