    Our clan has been having problems connecting and/or hearing people in both game chat and party chat since Xbox One came out. Nearly every time we get on COD Advanced Warfare and party up at least one of us can't hear one or all of the other party members.
    We try switching to party chat, resetting our Xbox's and routers, turning on and off our controllers and headsets. Usually we find a combination of fixes that allows everyone to hear each other but it takes us about 30 min each time to figure it out. It's
    not just COD game chat, it's Xbox party chat as well.

    It happens when we first party up and when someone new gets online and joins in. It even happens when everyone in the party has an open NAT type. Sometimes you can hear the person talking but it's so quiet you can't tell what they're saying.

    Please help, this is getting frustrating getting the runaround on phone support and Twitter for months.

    I've been using my tritons for sound and using kinetic for chat with my mates , if u snap party chat then turn it on , it works fine get the voices and sound through headphones just use kinetic for chat till adapter or new headphones arrive , we thought it worked fine on cod

    I've been having the same problems. Me and a friend just want to get into a party and play some Halo TMCC most nights, but always finding our self's spending half an hour trying to get party chat working. We both have NAT set to open, and we both have strong
    Internet connections. Its my opinion that Xbox Live is just not what it used to be or the Xbox One is not as good as we are lead to believe.

    Its getting us really annoyed having this issue every time we want to game Lets not forget it costs money, do we get our days gold back?

    Microsoft really need to pull there finger from there butts and get this sorted!

    The party chat has been broken since day one. I'm not able to get party chat to work until at least 3 tries of console resets each time. All the settings are correct, followed the guides and tips, and it's been over a year yet the party chat remains in the
    same broken state it's been in since day one. Give up, Microsoft is never going to fix anything.

    Hey there DubStepPup,

    Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to deal with this party/game chat issues. I can totally see how this could be pretty annoying after a bit.
    I would say to try clearing your persistent storage in Settings> Disc & Blu-ray> Blu-ray> Persistent storage> clear
    three times and alternate MAC address in Settings> Network> Network Settings> Advanced Settings is a good primary troubleshooting step for general gameplay issues

    .If that does not help, I would suggest then trying a soft reset of the console.
    It's a reset of your console back to factory settings but one that does not uninstall any of your games or apps and is a really good troubleshooting step for most issues. To do so, once you have verified
    that your network is set up adequately and you know all the sign in information for your gamertags, follow the steps here on
    How to reset your console to factory defaults on Xbox Oneand select the option denoted reset
    and keep your games & apps    .

    When you get the chance, let us know if any of that helped affect the issue in a positive way.
