Game Ownership Rights/Gameshare

So my cousin and me are gamesharing him being the

recipient of my games meaning he has logged into my account and is able to download all of my owned games.

Due to a long distance issue i am having problems buying a game that me and him want to play together through gamesharing. The issue is that he cannot come over to my house thats when i suggested he could gift the game to me. The game being Black Ops 1. The problem is that game is not able to be gifted.

So my question is if he logs into my account from his xbox and buys the game from his xbox where he lives will i own the game or will he.

Gifting is region locked

Also xbox 360 games are also region locked

it is called the home setting for the home so other family members in the same household can play on there profiles on the same xbox and you can play if the net goes down.

and you can sign in anywhere and play as long as you are connected.

there is no gamesharing option, that is just what people who abuse the system call it.

The game would be tied to whatever account is signed in at the time of purchase. So if your account is signed in, you would be the owner. Keep in mind that sharing account information, even though he is your cousin, violates the code of conduct and would put you and your cousin at risk for being banned.

Thank you for notifying me about the risks but this does bring me to another question.

If it is me buying the game from my phone on the Microsoft store it’ll be good though right?

And also the next question is if sharing account information is against the code of conduct then why is game sharing allowed because from what I know you have to give your account info to gameshare with them correct?

NEW OWNERS = new rules

That int false there was never gameshare on pc some.games support cross-platform.dlc However with all things some things come to an end especially when new owners are involved

Bungie owns destiny and sony owns bungie now

Bungie retaining ownership of the Destiny IP and full publishing rights to the game.

Destiny is on Battlenet btw on pc which is s.Blizzard Activision property
