Game Ownership issues

It appears that I am expeirencing trouble trying to play a game that i got via Xbox gold memebership. I believe it was mid to late last year, Im not to sure but, I downloaded the game For Honor using my Xbox Gold Membership but than my memebership ran
out and i couldn’t play the game which is understandable so than i renwed my memebership but it still does not allow me to play the game. Ive been using my friends accounts to play it and i cannot seem to find a solution to this issue. Ive tried hard resetting
my xbox, ive uninstalled and reinstalled the game. I am not sure what else to do honestly and ive lost all hope. Please someone send help my way, your effort will not go unseen.

Hi there,

Please check your Microsoft account online to make sure that the game shows up under your purchases and also that you are showing as having an active live gold membership. If both of those come up as true, please contact support.

Now when you say you have been using your friends accounts to play the game is this on your xbox console that you are using them?

This is only happening with your account on your xbox?

Have your tried removing your account from the xbox and then readding your account to the xbox?

Have you checked the subscriptions tab in settings on your xbox to make sure that you have an active xbox subscription?

Are you having any other issues with doing anything that requires a gold subscription like playing multiplayer or starting a party?

Have you tried doing a hard reset of your console by holding down the power button on the front for about 10 seconds for it to shut off then unplugging it for about a minute then plugging it back in and starting it up?

That games is not backwards compatible (which would be up to the publisher). So in order to play it on the One you'd either need another game pass subscription or you would have to purchase it for the One.

Per the Code of Conduct, you are not actually authorized to use the account that was left on the used Xbox, or any game licenses associated with it. I would suggest deleting the content, including the child account.
