Game of the year editions and backwards compatibility

I have fallout new vegas and fallout 3 as game of the year editions and all the dlc is on a install disc anyone know if this will work or will it be stupid and make me buy around 50 dollars in dlc.

Fable 2 classics version

Hi, the Fable II backwards compatibility does not include the game of the year. I'm sure it will come eventually. I'd advise against buying the dlc at this point. Microsoft are aware of the issue with the game of the year edition, and hopefully will have
it compatible in the near future.

Hey mate,

No it definiately won't make you buy it all again I'd say that once you installed it on your 360, it registered that you owned it, and will appear as a download when the game does. So i wouldn't worry about it at all

Actually it doesn't. I have the classics version of mass effect which has the bring down the sky dlc on another disc, the Xbox one does not recognize this, as I haven't purchased it on the marketplace. I have tried the disc, but the Xbox one does not recognize
it. The Xbox marketplace may want you to buy it again, but I would post on the feedback site to get them to make the Xbox recognize games of the year editions and classic editions too.

Oh its even better it thinks that disc one of the fallout 3 game of the year edition is a different game and says that its not available so I can't even play the game

ive got another story now disc 1 worked after some trouble shooting but then disc 2 also launches fallout

I am sorry for the last 2 posts but stuartatruered I found a glitch I unistalled fallout 3 and started by putting in the dlc disc and it installs the game and the dlc

I believe the issue maybe be related to the game of the edition not being a backwards compatible title. The games that are backwards compatible can be very specific based on the standard version or some other edition. One way to make sure an edition is backwards
compatible is either it will clearly state it on the backwards compatible list found online or on Major Nelson's blog, or if you find the edition on the Xbox 360 marketplace and I can't find Red Dead Redemption game of the year edition on either the list or
the marketplace. The standard version of Red Dead Redemption is what is listed on the marketplace and the full list of available backwards compatible games.

Hey all, is this the 5 year anniversary edition of the Game of the Year or just the standard one? Which disc are you inserting into the console and are other Backward Compatible games working properly?

As for Sleeping Dogs, they released a definitive edition version a few years ago for the Xbox One, that's probably the reason why there is no support for the regular 360 edition. I hope this helps.

If it's not backward compatible then it's not backward compatible and never will be as they stopped updating the emulator years ago. The only Robotech game that is backward compatible is Battlecry.
