Game not working properly

the problem can sometimes be caused by the game itself i would suggest creating a new world and seeing if that is happening within there if so i would suggest redownloading the game to see if it would resolve the problems

I too play Minecraft and have had some problems with the game.

I would try as the other posted suggested and save to a different device.

Unfortunately, Minecraft is still in the works of getting updates on xbox live and it has some bugs. Make sure you save your game manually and do not use exit and save. I believe they have tried to fix some of the errors with saving but make sure you are
initiating the save and then come back later and see if you are still suffering from the same problem.

Check if the game is up to date. If this is the case, try a power cycle. That mostly solves the most issues.

In case that this dont fix it i would try to delete the game and redownload it.
