Game not transfering over

do you still have your game on your xbox one if so try putting it on an external drive and play on your xbox series S that way

If that did not help try contacting Microsoft account-billing support

You would have to try contacting support to see if they can cancel the original purchase so you can purchase it on the correct account. Otherwise, nothing can be transferred between accounts. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada or

Alternatively, you could sign in with the account that owns the game, set the console as your Home console, and then be able to access the game on your other account.

The game added cross-progression last year, allowing you to progress the same across both platforms, but it's a process you'll need to activate manually. Here are the steps:

You would have had to use a transfer cable or USB flash drive to transfer the saved game files over. They wouldn't be moved over by recovering your gamertag or transferring licenses.

The save most likely won't transfer over... I think the game's have to be set up for that to happen. (As in the instance of rank transferring over in CoD Ghosts).
