Game not starting

I checked the back of my game disc for the game Fallout: 4 and saw that it was perfectly clean without any scratches on it, so I inserted it into my xbox one.

The xbox one.works perfectly fine as well, there shouldn't be anything wrong. But I keep getting the message "Do you own this game or app?" when clearly I do. The game won't start no matter how many tries I attempt and it won't acknowledge the game disc's
existence.

Please help me fix this issue, i just want to play some fallout and stream a bit.

Have you attempted to simply press the start button and quit the game? Also have you tried to do a hard reset through the settings? Also have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game as a last ditch effort? You could also contact EA about the problem

Hi,

yes in the forums it says you're silver(free), you will need to get gold to play. games with gold are only available to those who are gold. xbox one isn't like xbox 360 when you keep the game forever.

having the same issue, tried different disc games that just worked last night perfectly fine. Downloaded games are playing, but not disc games.

Have you tried holding the Power button in for 10 seconds to shutdown Xbox One and restart? It may be that the game console was turned off while it was trying to write a save and it may be corrupted.

Hi. Please press and hold the power button on your console for 10 seconds to do a hard reset. Turn the console on and try again.

If that didn't work please navigate to the game under my games and apps and press the menu button and scroll down to saved data and select to delete all locally saved data. Your saved data will sync from the cloud once you open the game again

Xbox Live Service Alert out that is affecting purchases and content usage on the Xbox One platform. This may be causing some issues with purchases, however what you are describing is sounding like a 2K server error message and you may wish to check to see

Whenever it does that, I just hard reset the console. That normally helps.
