Game not launching nor appearing in "My Games"

Hey there.

I live in Austria and wanted to buy Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, because its price got lowered to ~ $20.

I got a $25 Xbox Live card from a friend. To activate it, I had to change my location to US. Done, worked. Now I got $25 on my account and wanted to buy MW3 for $20. Then I got an error, that I can't buy it, because it's not available in my country (I live
in Austria, but I changed my location.). So I asked an american friend if he could log into my gamertag on his console and buy the game for me.

After asking, he bought the game successfully. Now I logged back into my gamertag on my console and the game doesn't appear in "My Games". I can download it from the market, but when I start it, the console just goes back to the "My Games" area. I already tried
the "License Transfer" option and re-downloaded the game after doing so. Still no success.

Please help me, I bought the game and want to play it, but for some reason I can't.

Game Pass Glitch blocking access to my game.

It worked like a charm, since them the game had no Game Pass interruptions and had no problems launching from my main account as well. Thnks for the tip!

 

Skyrim not appearing in "My Games" after download

I'm having the same problem with Arkham Asylum. It didn't appear in My Games list either. Go to Storage and check if your Skyrim is there. If it's got an exclamation mark it means the game is corrupted and you should try to redownload it.

 

Hey there, I would say that buying it in a different region has caused the issue. Really though you shouldn't be changing regions to enter codes or by stuff that isn't available on your marketplace, even though I'm sure ghosts would be.

Unfortunately I don't think there is going to be anything anyone can do because you shouldn't have done what you did in the first place.

 

It is available in my country. I just had a Xbox Live card with USD on it. I can't submit USD cards in a country where the currency is EUR.

What if I moved over countries? That would end up in the same problem.

 

I think you misunderstood, you didn't just change regions to add the currency, you had a friend buy the game from the US region and I'm pretty sure all 360 games are region locked, so it's basically like me who uses PAL, to buy a NTSC game which would not
work on my system.

If you moved to America it probably still wouldn't work until you bought another console that matched the region of the game.....

According to this website MW3 NTSC should work on PAL, shouldn't it?

But it's just a digital game, not a CD, why would there be a a problem between PAL and NTSC?
