    Game not launching from xbox companion app


    I've been trying to launch no man's sky from the companion app and store on PC each time I do it redirects me to gaming services. It says that I have downloaded this but still gives me the option to install on other devices which I tired and just says
    to do some things with an xbox which I don't own. I've tried repeatedly to launch the game with the same result and have restarted the game. the game has launched before.

    Hi Samy,

    I'm logged in correctly to the Xbox Console Companion. I can actually launch my games from there and play games as expected. However, when I launch the Xbox App from the Xbox Console Companion I am still not logged in to the Xbox App and cannot install new games or play games from the Xbox App.

    Thanks for coming to the forums. When you launch the game, where are you launching it from? The Xbox companion, dashboard, game pass for PC app? Try the Xbox companion to launch the game. Also try updating the address on your account. Make sure your account
    is an Xbox account, that it has a gamer tag.

    I firstly opened the game from the Xbox console-companion. I tried to install the Xbox companion App but sadly my Laptop is not compatible with the Xbox(Beta)-Installer.

    Xbox app/Halo Master Chief Collection

    A lot of people are having this issue, it won't launch from the Xbox (Beta) app, but it launches perfectly fine from both the Xbox Console Companion app, and from the Start menu itself. It's an extra step needed to launch the game, but that should help
    you get into the game until they resolve the issue with the app.
