    Hey, there!

    I got myself a subscription for the Xbox game pass for PC in order to play The Outer Worlds. I played the game for around 35 hours with no issue, but suddenly nothing happened when I tried to launch the game. I then looked the issue up and tried lots of different
    things like restarting, resetting the game and the app, repairing the game and the app, updating drivers and updating windows non of which helped.

    I then proceeded to try and do a fresh install. The first issue here was that when I uninstalled the game I could see that even though the game no longer appeared in the app, it still took up space on my computer - so the files must have still been there. So
    I tried without luck to find out where the files were so I'd have space enough to do a fresh install. I eventually ended up uninstalling other game to make up for the space I lost and also doing a fresh install of the Xbox app after which I tried to download
    the game again. Not only is the game still taking up space on my PC somehow (even though it's supposed to be uninstalled), but when I try to download it again it just says an error has occurred. By now I have no idea what to do.

    Thanks for keeping us informed. After you tried the "DeInstall-Troubleshooter" I would recommend you next the

    "AppsServicesTroubleshooter"     to repair with the Store related Services (this should also clear the store-cache in which perhaps still remnants of ToW-Setup). After this you should reboot your Computer and then
    check first if there are Updates pending in the Store APP!!

    I still think there are old files from the previous Setup. To actually uninstall the game and delete it completely, go to your Settings, System, Storage, Temporary Files, and it’s listed in Delivery Optimization Files. Then delete it there!!
