    Game not installing; Error code: 0x803fb107


    Problem: I'm unable to install a specific PC game (Injustice 2) and keep getting error codes despite being able to install other xbox games on PC.

    • I got a new PC a few weeks ago and Injustice 2 was one of first games installed
    • After install and separately SSD failed and was eventually replaced
    • I also formatted my other drive that contained other games I had installed, so essentially a fresh start
    • Since new SSD and format of other drive, I haven't had any other problems with getting xbox games to install on my PC
    • However, anytime i try to install injustice 2, i get error codes: Am getting this code most frequently: 0x803fb107; have also gotten: 0x80242020
    • I have several other games installed, but am unable to get injustice 2 to install
    I prefer a solution that does not require me to format any drives.

    Using the XBox platform, on the Manage Installs window, two games are shown as installed (I have an ancient AOE), it recognizes the partial install, but fails with Error 100% and error code 0x803fb107

    Check downloads gets no response and Automatic Updates is on.

    Messed around again with signing-in settings and now I have a completely different error code, still when reaching 100% install — 0x803fb107.

    ‘Installation Stopped’

    Installed the Call of duty season 4 update and then the game wouldn’t work so i uninstalled it. Now it won’t let me reinstall it, it keeps saying ‘installation stopped’

    i’ve seen two different error codes: 0x80070005 and 0x803FB107 and tried the troubleshooting on this feed: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...ne-store/2617134f-c88e-4eb5-81fc-e4d29e5f69e3 but
    still the problem persists.

    Any ideas?
    i would completely uninstall the game and reinstall it fresh
