Game not in games folder after purchase

Hi,

I bought Dark Souls Remasterd 5 hours ago. 5 hours later it still hasnt showed up on my xbox. The money has been deducted from my bank ccount. Can anybody help me?

Some games won't work

If the games are not Microsoft store purchases. Generally you can find a folder in each of the games file directories labeled _CommonRedist. Within that specific folder, you should find the specific DirectX file you need to install for each specific game.

Here's an example for a specific games DirectX file location.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Darksiders Warmastered Edition\_CommonRedist\DirectX\Jun2010

 

Recorded clips not showing up on Skydrive

The recorded clips show up in skydrive after you publish them in upload studio to your Skydrive -> Pictures -> Xbox Game DVR folder.

I hope one day they allow us to configure the folder as this is usually the most confusion on this topic - people expecting output in the videos folder or a custom xbox one folder, not under images.

 

Hi, if you got to My games & apps on the Xbox then look in the ready to install section is the game in there at all ? if so you need to select it and install it.

 

ok so you did make the purchase on the same account you use on your Xbox ?

It's also worth checking the account order history in case something went wrong with the payment, you'd see the purchase and then a refund.

Sign in to your Microsoft account

That would explain why it hasn't shown up on the Xbox, if you have other Microsoft accounts then check the purchase history of those too in case you made the purchase on the wrong account. If all else fails and you're 100% sure the money has been taken then
Xbox support would be your next port of call as it is a billing issue maybe.

If it’s not in your purchase history then the transaction wasn’t completed.

Check your email associated with the account that bought it and see if you received a confirmation email.
