    I started installing Ark Survival Evolved last night with game pass. I decided i dont want the game and was running out of storage. When i stopped the download my hard drive didn't get rid of the 130 gigibytes. I can't find the files and want them removed. The Xbox app said it was installed in My C: drive but it wasn't there.

    check the windowsnoeditor or xbox equivalent ark dose that across the bored on steam too its wildcard for you as for the files in question its map and save data where ms put thos files idk. but i do know theres a y8 in the 1st 12 values of the file Name.

    You recovered the used space or not yet?

    About the Ark in the start menu, the game still appears there?

    Could you try searching for it?

    Type Ark , if you're able to see it via Windows search right click on it and select "Uninstall"

    Try this:
    Open the Run window pressing the Windows key + R in Windows and enter %temp%

    Delete the folders there (are temporary) and check the space

    .GamingRoot file It’s a file that allows Xbox app to identify that a drive is useable
