    Game Not Fully Downloaded!!


    I FINALLY got the chance to get the console with the game (Got it this Monday).

    After setting up the console, I went ahead and put my Halo code in and started the download. I then queued up the Free For Gold games.

    I let the system downloads as I went into the other room to watch TV, checking on the download from time to time.

    I didn't think of setting up the system not turn off and it did after an hour of inactivity. When I noticed this, I turned it back on and found that all of the games were missing from the queue. Surprised MCC downloaded so quickly, I started it up to test
    it out. But when I went into Multiplayer, it gives a warning that only Halo1 and Halo4 are installed (H2 at 38%). And that the other games are still installing. So I left it to finish for a few hours as I went out to run errands.

    I returned and found the progress bars have not moved. THE GAMES ARE STILL NOT INSTALLED! I've gone through every setting and option I can find on the system and
    I CAN NOT FIND A OPTION TO REINSTATE THE INSTALL!!

    What do I do????? I've been waiting for months to finally have the funds to trade in my old system for this one, and game, and now the freaking download/install of the it is not working! I'm a Halo Forger and BADLY want to work in Halo2a's Forge.

    PLEASE HELP.

    Have you fully downloaded the game, even if it says ready to play, it will only sit at the loading screen until it has fully downloaded the game.

    Hey buddy,

    Not to worry, its a bit different now on the new system however its all still there Game Not Fully Downloaded!! :) From the sounds of it, the install may have just errored or something. Perhaps the system was updating while you were installing and the two clashed... either way, I have
    a few tricks that should help

    Firstly, I'd reccomend reinstalling the game by following these steps:

    Reinstalling games

    Before you can reinstall a game, you must uninstall it from the console's hard drive. To uninstall a game:

    1.Say “Xbox, go to my games and apps” or open My games and apps on the Home screen.

    2.Select Games.

    3.Highlight the game that you want to uninstall, press the Menu button, then select Manage game.

    4.Select Manage all, select Uninstall all, then select Uninstall.

    You can then reinstall the game by inserting the disc or downloading again from the Xbox Store. To download the game again, search for the game in the Store, select the game, then select Install.

    Let me know how that goes, and we will go from there Game Not Fully Downloaded!! :)

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    If I may ask, do you have an external hard drive plugged into your console? If yes, please unplug the external hard drive and then perform a powercycle before installing the game. Make sure to keep the hard drive unplugged.

    POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

    ​​​

    1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

    2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

    If you don't have an external hard drive plugged in, we may need to reset the console keeping your games and apps. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

    Select Reset console.

    Reset and keep my games & apps.
