Game mods don't load in Windows 10

    Game mods don't load in Windows 10


    Hi guys,

    Before I ask my question, I will say I know how to use a computer but I most definitely am not the most tech savvy person in the world.

    This being said, I'm having issues loading mods into games on windows 10. I currently have both Minecraft and resident Evil 2 Remake on my computer and have been trying to put mods into them for a while now with no success. I have don't the below items, for both games I have read some of the forums.

    1. I have checked to make sure I have the right version of the games.

    For Minecraft, the java edition and for Resident Evil 2 Remake, the dx11_non_RT version.

    2. I purchased them from a known source.

    For Minecraft, I purchased through Xbox Live, For Resident Evil 2, Steam.

    3. I made sure all the necessary add-on were included.

    For Minecraft, it was the Java Edition, For resident Evil 2 I have the extra DLC mods through steam.

    4. I made sure I put the mods in the right place.

    For Minecraft, I installed Java script, downgraded to a earlier version of Minecraft, and I put the mod folders in the correct location, %appdata% Minecraft file, Mods folder.

    For Resident Evil, I installed the mod Manager (Fluffy 5000 Manager), ran it as administrator, put the mods in the RE2R folder in the Mod manager file, selected Resident Evil 2 Remake, turned on the mods (have tried loading both just one mod and multiple mods), and launched the app from the Manager. When the manager said it was installing the mods, they were installing them into the: Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/RESIDENT EVIL 2 BIOHAZARD RE2 file which appears to be correct.

    5. Tried loading the mods in both game, both zipped and unzipped.

    Despite trying multiple combinations, settings, basically anything I could think of, they still won't load, can you guys recommend something, or maybe I've missed or overlooked something. I do have Kaspersky if that is of any help but I tried resident Evil with all the protection off and it still didn't load.

    If any of you are wondering, the computer I'm running has the below specs:

    Model: Lenovo ThinkStation P500 WorkStation

    Processor: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-1650 v3 @ 3.50GHz (Total: 21GHz)

    RAM: 40GB DDR4 RDIMM ECC Ram

    GPU: Nvidia Quadro K4200 4GB

    Software: Windows 10 Pro (21H2)

    Windows 11 gaming is broken?

    What do you mean by restore? You advise me to back to windows 10? From the begging of update to windows 11 those ms store games won't load. I don't want back to windows 10.
