Game missing from library after 10 years!

I have the same issue. Bought the game a few years ago, and all dlc afterwards, but now it's missing from the library. Did a factory reset, but that didn’t fix the issue

Hello, Philip. I can suggest something, but I can't guarantee that it will work:

Step 1. Open the Microsoft Store again, click on your account profile picture and go to Settings.
Step 2. There, make sure to enable “offline permissions”
Step 3. Open the Xbox app and sign out from the account that owns Sea of Thieves. Then, sign in with your main account, where you have the Sea of Thieves progress.
Step 4. Attempt to play the game from the Xbox app.

Note: In case the game is not listed on the Xbox app, press the Windows key on your PC and type “Sea of Thieves”. Then, verify if you can play the game in that way.

Apart from that, please note that it's not possible to merge any Microsoft account with another one, and that purchases or any kind of content isn't transferable between accounts.

This didn't work. But do you have any other suggestion as to how this could've happened? I just find it strange, that i can own a game on an account, but have the progress on another.

Hello, Philip. The only thing that came to my mind, was that you had access to the game on the account where you have the progress via Game Pass. Because on PC, the only way to access a game on a certain Microsoft account is owning that game or, if the game is on Game Pass, having an active subscription.

I know this is not the answer you are expecting, but you may want to wait until Sea of Thieves has a discount to purchase it on the account that has your progress, or join to PC Game Pass instead.

Thank you for the good idea! The game is on the purchase history on this account. But it is still not available in my library on either account.
