GAME loyalty shares.

Check your e-mail guys/girls, if u are a GAME customer, u may have got lucky (like me) and recieved an e-mail saying u have been chosen to recieve £100's worth of Loyalty shares.

These can only be converted and spent at GAME, but shares can rise

Either way, it's at least £100 free to spend on games/consoles etc

I was only saying, but now i have to make up my mind what to do with it. Using towards getting an xbox one and also trade in my 360 and over 60 games or just buy call of duty and assassin's creed

Following on from our email on 19th May, we're excited to announce that GAME Digital plc is on track to list on the London Stock Exchange! Even more exciting news - as a thank you for being such an amazing and loyal customer, you've been selected as one

Yeah I've just received it too, but I would imagine that as your friendly share trader will tell you the value of shares can fall as well as rise so I don't think it necessarily means a guaranteed £100.

All the same not bad for nothing.

 

U can collect/redeem them from October 2014, and as i understand in the terms, they will be worth £100 then (october), then once yearly over a period of 6 years you may choose to redeem, but the price may rise or fall.

Classic stick or twist, take your £100 in October, or stick and risk it for more....or less.

 

Ah, I thought they meant they would be worth £100 when they float (11th June) and then you can redeem in Oct or various preselected intervals.

Hopefully your correct, think I'll cash mine in ASAP, don't hold out much hope of GAME shares climbing the FTSE that much lol

I got the email aswell, I've emailed GAME an it seems when we choose to spend them they will be converted to reward points and put onto our reward cards. I will put mine to getting another Xbone in autumn probably.

 

Nice gesture. I don't shop at GAME but its nice to see that those that do are being rewarded.

i got one too, i'll be swappng mine for £100 in oct if thats possible, too many games coming out i might aswel get 2 for free

 

nice for those that got it I very rarely shop in game anymore. The prices are ridiculous instore.

 

Hey guys n gals, i picked up my certificate from my local Game store yesterday, and this is not as straight forward, i spoke to my mate (store manager) who told me that basically the shares are given out, once the company floats on the stock exchange, in
October i think it was, anywhoo i have been advised that you have to keep the shares for 3 years, after which you can do as you see fit with them, i appreciate that many of you reading this now will be either cursing or outright saying that im wrong.

I am only passing on what i have been told and he did appear to know exactly what was involved, so for those of you wishing to put the £100 towards the xmas blowout this year, i think you are going to be disappointed im afraid.
