Game loads when starting party?

One thing that annoys me about this console is, why does a game load up every time I turn my Xbox One on and start up a party? All I want to do sometimes is get into a party at the dashboard, talk to my friends and then go from there. Maybe decide on what
game to play etc. I hate the fact that to start a party, it has to load up the last game played. i do not understand that. Why cant I start a party at the dashboard and STAY at the dashboard?! Please fix this

Starts to load, then stop and goes back to home page

When starting the jigsaw gamer, it starts to load and then just goes back to the windows 10 page.

 

Changing Bat suit?

Can be done when starting a new game or a new game plus ...start a game , quit and when you load again to continue the change suits will appear.

 

Same here Opening party game ( physical copy ) loading up straight away. Please fix

 

The other person has the option to invite you to game AND party, or game OR party. So if they invite you to both, it will load up the game as well.

 

I have this beef as well it is very very annoying that as above says it always starts the last game or app that I played last which you do not want to happen. It always goes to snap screen and then runs the dam game and party setup. Please Xbox sort this
out with an option to just start the party app without anything else running unless someone knows something I do not !

Sorry to hear about the issue! This normally occurs if you are invited to both a game and a party, or if you select 'Join Party & Game'. An alternative is to start your own party and invite your friends as well!
