So I got my friend into the Xbox eco system and had to set his Xbox as my home to access my games, but whenever I try to play games offline on my Xbox it will say that it requires this Xbox to be set as home, I think you have to set it as home to have the licenses to play and access those games offline, but the big issue here is that only one console have licenses to play an account games offline, but the problem is that I can’t access the games that I own offline on my Xbox, it’s a really important aspect in gaming especially in a console, the licenses should be for two consoles at a time at least to access the games offline, and it’s really important for people who have limited internet connection, and making game share an official feature that would be better than the home Xbox thing and most people use it to just gameshare I really hope that two consoles can access one account games offline at a time at least the owner account must be able to access them offline on their Xbox when someone’s else Xbox is his home I know it’s a long article, sorry

It's really only recommended you leave your own console as your Home. It's made more for if people are at your house, they can access your games/subscriptions. Outside of the home, it's best if people buy their own stuff.

Any console that will allow for unlimited theft would be bankrupt as the game companies would revolt and sue before leaving the company

Hi,

you only need to make the console you want to share with my home xbox that's it, the console you got the licenses on should be able to play on the games, bare in mind that if you have only one license for a game you both want to play then you cannot play
the same game at the same time due to licensing limitations, you may enjoy the other games while you wait or purchase a license on the account and xbox you want to share with so you both can enjoy the games at the same time.

Note: My home xbox is made for only to share with your family, unless the policy has changed for sharing.

Did you redownload the games after you performed the license transfer? That would redownload the licenses and you should be able to continue sharing the games.

I believe that the profile that has the game must be signed in on an Xbox 360 in order to access the game. It's not like the Xbox One where you can set the console to "home" to share the games with other profiles.

On the 360 it does work a little differently, but you can share games without needing to be signed in. When you purchase a game you're given 2 licenses, a console license and an account license. The account license allows you to sign in and use your content
on any console. The console license allows you to use your content without having to be signed into the console. Anyone who is using the same console you originally bought the content on can access your games. The license transfer moves the console license
if you get a new console so you can continue using content offline or share it.
