    I have my Xbox 360 console turned off and left my game disc inside onn the disc tray. it's inside the console but turned off, is it ok to leave the game inside the console with the console turned off?

    I have a problem you want to buy the game Left 4 Dead and says that is not currently available but'm in the retro section - compatible, which is done in these cases

    What do you think: Should Xbox gamers have to have Xbox live to join a Xbox live party or get the free games every month.

    I've been doing this for years/for as long as I can remember and have not personally had any disc or console issues resulting from this. Just don't move your console while the disc is inside.

    I personally would not recommend it, as the DVD laser track, and/or position sensors. (IF equipped) May not always set at idle every time out.

    Again, IMO. If ever it didn't, and the console sets unused for an ample amount of time, the laser could get stuck. And that's not a good thing.

    The only time the laser wouldn`t set at idle position would be if you unplugged the console while the disc was running.

    Leaving the disc in the console between gaming sessions will never cause a problem.

    I've done this a few times and haven't had any problems, but generally I try to return my discs to their cases so I always know where they're at.

    I've done it thousands of times and still do it to this day. I'm sure there's a game sitting in my xbox right now, in fact. I'm not even sure what it is.

    As a former Playstation Fanboy who owned every playstation, I owned the PS2 Fat and it had a similar disc drive to the 360. The disc will be fine, as long as you don't move the console.

    It was designed that way. Imagine if you had to remove the disc everytime you stopped playing. What an inconvenience that would be huh?
