when attempting to launch observer from layers of fear + >observer bundle i keep getting forced to the microsoft store single version of >observer (giving error code 0x803F8001) and layers of fear also does not exist in the download, is anyone else having
this issue or know a fix for it?.

error code 0x803F8001 only has 3 possible connections to it:

either it requires a physical copy of the game in the drive to play (not applicable to the digital download version).

you don't own the digital version of it (again not applicable as in the store it says i do own this game).

i'm not signed in to xbox or it was bought by another account on this xbox (as i only have one account on my xbox one and it is auto signed in to the xbox this is not applicable to me either).

i can go into the xbox store and it says i own the game (only manage or buy as gift options available).

if i delete the game from my games and apps and download the bundle again the same thing happens it only downloads the >observer game not the bundle which should include layers of fear in the download.

i can go to manage the game bundle (but this bundle appears to have no games within the game management section).

3~Probably a toss up between TTT2 and Sleeping Dogs.

Biggest failure im saying Halo 4 although a good game the failures since launch however tainted it.

Failure to launch

There are a couple things I'd suggest trying. First, make sure to install all available updates - both for the app and Windows. Then restart your device and try launching the game again. If that still doesn't work, try uninstalling the app and reinstalling
it.

try to power cycle your console. Please hold down the power button on the front of the console for approximately 15 seconds until the power light shuts off. Wait about 60 seconds, then power it back on. Be sure you see the green "XBOX ONE" animation loading
screen when you power it back up.

you can try to factory reset your console, choosing keep all games and apps option to not delete your games installed. You have all info here:

It could be a corrupted download, Have you tried uninstalling, Clearing local saved games and then installing again ?

Hey there, have you tried to Power Cycle your console? To do this hold down the Xbox power button for 10 seconds, hopefully, this works. If not, a quick uninstall and local saved games clear could do the trick.

Does the game simply show the splash screen and returns to the dashboard before the game's main menu appears, or is the game actually starting and crashes to the dashboard when you are supposed to press A or otherwise start the game?

Can you also try to hold the power button on the console for about 10 seconds, then turn the console back on, and make sure it shows you a green bootup screen with the Xbox One logo.

If the green boot screen is not appearing, hold the power button on the console again for 20 seconds.

After the console has finished starting and shows the home screen after the green boot screen, try to launch the game again.
