Game lag

I have a question about an issue I've "lived with" for a long time now. And I'm sure I'll get some immature responses but thought I'd give it a shot.

I primarily just play COD games - just don't have time or interest in most other ones. Some games - most games are pretty normal. I'm not a great player - have a 1.15 k/d ratio. I'm usually middle of the pack, sometimes higher in my matches. But occasionally
I get into games and without noticing any kind of real lag, my gun just won't shoot when I pull the trigger. There is a noticable gap of time before it fires. And though most of the time, on my screen it will appear I started shooting first, I die. Again
- I'm not a primadonna. I give credit to those who are just plain better than me. But sometimes what happens is just not possible There is something just not right about the situation. It's a new controller (within 6 months). Is it possible I either have
some type of lag or maybe I'm playing against folks with modded controllers?

Any thoughts are appreciated. Is there a setting somewhere I'm not getting right? My NAT Type is moderate - always is. Nothing I can do will change it. But I don't think that's it either.

Lags in games

Quite a few HDTV's have extra 'post processing' modes. These modes are in many cases enabled from default. These modes are designed to enhance the picture quality while watching TV, DVD or Blu-ray. However, these modes can cause latency issues when still
enabled while attempted to play on games consoles or using a computer connected to the TV.

Please consult your TV manual on how to turn these picture enhancements off as they will effect how the image is displayed for playing games on your Xbox 360 console.

In Game LAG !

Why does my game of watch dogs seem to lag when I'am playing it? Also it only does it when I'am shooting? Thanks!

 

It's all lag the past month the lag as been really bad after a game last night the hole lobby was talking about the lag. I thought it was me but both teams were having lag so bad when I respond my gun was always in the air crazy.the game is going down hill
fast....

It seems the issues have really come to the surface. Since this has been in completely unplayable state for two days running, I have to wonder.......what part of my subscription for xbox live playtime will be refunded to my account? I pay for the access
to play at my convenience, but with the system down for so long on the exact thing I pay for, what kind of refund can I look forward to?
