I understand. I would be worried about that too. It shouldn't come down to that. If it's doing it for all your games, it sounds like an operating system error, so the reset keeping your games and apps should solve your problem. However, if it's an
online game, your info may also be backed up in the cloud. Once you reinstall the game, anything stored on your account should sync back up. If you are uncertain, check with the game's developer/online tech support. Something that works for me is keeping
all of my games on an external hard drive. You can unplug them and/or move them from console to console. I hope that helps.

When doing the factory reset, choose the option to keep your games and apps. It will reset your operating system, and you will need to sign back into your account, but you won't have to re-install everything. If that doesn't fix your problem, then you
will need to do the full factory reset and re-install all your games and apps. Let us know if this fixes the issue.

Are you connected to internet if you are try to run the games in offline mode if freezing still happen then reset

Happening to me too. I try to load a game, it goes to the splash screen for 5 sec, then kicks me back to the dash board.

It's been determined to be a RAM overload / memory leak issue with the console. Why some are more affected than others, or why some are affected and others aren't at all, I have no **** clue. Hopefully we get a fix for this soon, but it's been over 3 months
and still nothing that seems to be a relatively simple fix since the cause has been determined.

If you research, you'll see that the issue likely stems from the Win 8 OS. There are many forums out there where people much smarter than me say Win 8 is very prone to memory leaks / RAM overloading. A lot of people hate Win 8.
