Hello

I would like to ask for some help in regards to the XBox One game - Powerstar Golf.

I've been having problems with this game recently in which the game will freeze, create a loud buzzing noise and then places you back to the XBox One Dashboard. This mostly happens when I try to access certain features in the game, such as the Caddie Setup,
the Golfer Setup and now it is known to also occur in the Rivals Game Mode. It is possible that some other areas within the game also trigger this ordeal with the game freezing & crashing you back to the XBox One Dashboard.

I have tried to reload the game and return to the same feature in the menu, but the game still freezes & crashes out. I've deleted the game and redownloaded it onto the XBox One Console. I've also redownloaded all of the download content for the game, at
the same time. I then reloaded the game once the download was complete, but when I tried to access the same menu in the game. It still freezes & crashes.

I have also requested my brother to try the game out for himself since he bought it on his console as well and he too gets the same problem with the game, in which it freezes and crashes you back to the XBox One Dashboard.

Is there a solution towards this method and please can we have some help to get this fault resolved so that we can actually play the game, without the fear of encountering this problem where the game freezes & returns you back to the XBox One Dashboard?
The loud buzzing noise as you can imagine is not very pleasant. In addition I believe many users will encounter this problem since the Full Unlock of the game has chosen to be a Deal Of The Week - May 23rd 2017 - May 30th 2017.

Agreed, this is quite frustrating. As the game itself is rather enjoyable! We truly need a fix for this.

I tried this method yesterday and it does work. Thank you, Prince for the tip! You won't be able to access rivals because that requires you to be online, but you can access caddie setup without getting a crash. I was also having an issue with local coop
because after I logged in and my friend logged it, the game automatically started searching for (2) "rivals". However, if you go to settings within and game you can disable "Automatically Look for Rivals" or something like that.

Also found for local coop: you can go offline while setting up the game and doing your caddie setup and, once you get into the match, go back online without a crash. This will enable you to still get XP for: beating friends' drives, your personal best shots,
etc...

ive just had this crashing issue too now...never used to before...crashes every single time on the caddy screen..im not in preview program neither.

 

I have the same problem with Powerstar Golf full version, I try almost everything what's suggested in the support but it crashed every time in the caddy screen and when I want to play a course. Very frustrating that I can't play and pay 16 euro for it.

 

I also have this problem, I think it's happening to everyone who tries to play. You can begin to go into a match, once you hit caddy/golfer screen, it freezes and then boots you to xbox dashboard. I love this game, could you please get it fixed. heck, my
hopes being crushed when i see staff reply from almost 3 weeks ago. 3 weeks and no fix??

 

Whilst I in no way intend to take the pressure off of the tech team in fixing this continuing issue, I too have been frustrated as hell by this crashing especially since I just paid for the complete game unlock.

That said, I just read in another related forum that you can get around the, what I've titled, "Caddy ****" lol issue by going to your Xbox settings and going offline prior to entering the caddy adjustment screen. Once you've made the desired changes, pop
back over to your settings and go back online. You can then return to the game and continue like normal.

Hope this helps those who didn't already know. As for Xbox Helpdesk, please expedite a fix for this. I realise it's an older game with lower player numbers but it was brought to your attention how long ago now...?

 

same problem, i contacted support maybe 3 months ago about this and still no fix. Sucks cause this is a perfect game for older gamers, its very like many other great golf games. Please fix it and make a powerstar golf 2. Not cool for a game i paid for
to be broken with no support

Can someone finally fix that problem??? MICROSOFT!!!! WE BOUGHT THAT GAME AND IT CRASHES NOW FOR MONTHS!!! DO FINALLY SOMETHING AGAINST IT!

Sorry but i cannot stay calm anymore. Many have that ****ing problem and there is still no intention to solve it. Really....
