Game issue playing offline!!!Please Help!

Hello im having trouble playing some of my games offline it says i need to be connected to xbox live or need internet connection for my single player offline games? Some of the games are Pneuma and castle storm, Can someone please
help me?

Xbox occasionally won't play games offline.

Sorry to hear about the issue with playing games offline. Please take a look at this guide and see if it helps out with this problem.

Using Xbox One Offline If it doesn't help out, can you please give us an idea of which games you're unable to use offline? Are these Disc versions or Digitally downloaded versions.

but you CAN play your games offline. i was playing streets of rage just fine, last night.

i didnt have to do it last night since i didnt run into any issues, but i read that putting the console in offline mode helps.

based off the games you mentioned I'm going to take a shot in the dark here and say most if not all the games youre having issues with are old games with gold games... if so, that's why.

based off the games you mentioned I'm going to take a shot in the dark here and say most if not all the games youre having issues with are old games with gold games... if so, that's why.

Hey there VinnieQuest,

Not all games can be played offline, for example some MMO games require the online connection. Which game are you trying to play offline and what happens when you try?

Hi Squiddman,

Thank you for the video that shows me the issue that is occurring with Sunset Overdrive on your PC. I am going to further investigate this problem and see if someone on my team can help me with this. In the meantime, let's try another suggestion and this just to see if there is an issue with the cloud save causing this problem. Please do the following in the order presented

Solution 1: Play games offline on Windows 10 using Offline mode; this error could also be attributed to issues with the Microsoft store not recognizing your entitlement to the game. Would you please click on this link Play games offline on Windows 10 using Offline mode | Xbox Support. Then scroll down and click on the drop-down arrow and look at the steps for How to enable offline play on your device

Solution 2: Once you have completed the first suggestion, disconnect from the internet and then try to play Sunset Overdrive offline and let me know if that solved the issue. I want to rule out cloud save issues.
