Game isn't updating (0x8b050033)

The game in question is Madden 23 for Xbox One S (i have the disc for it). I've been having a lot of trouble getting this game to work lately. It claims that it needs an update (nothing's gonna change i just know), so I let it update, but it won't. When it says "Ready to Start", I go to the game, and it says that it needs to update. So then I let it finish updating, I go to the game, needs to update. Sometimes it will say "You need this update (wrong), but we can't get it at the moment."

I've been trying for a few days now to get it to work, but I'm in this endless loop I can't escape from. I've tried ejecting the disc and putting it back in. I've tried hard resetting. I've tried turning my hotspot on and off. I tried clearing other games off my system that I haven't played in a while because I thought there wasn't enough space. I've tried uninstalling the game itself and reinstalling it, and ever then, it still says it's updating. How would it even know how to update if the system thinks it's brand new.

This isn't the only time this specific game has given me trouble. Around the time it was launched, I had to go out of my way to get a new version of the game because it was dirty. I know for a fact it wasn't dirty because it was brand new out of the case and none of my other games said this. I really don't want to get a THIRD disc. I don't know why, but this game in particular has been a lot of trouble for me. So what do I do at this point?
