I Only Play This Game On Legend Difficultly And Most Times Set On Epic Match That Can Take A Bit Longer But Still Find It Easy I Find Online Play Harder

I'm with ya on this, I'm also new, but getting the guy to do most of the moves is highly frustrating - I end up button mashing or losing to a guy I have been beating on for 15 minutes.

 

What perks are you picking? Try to find the Cambridge police department and start the Brotherhood of Steel quests. You'll be able to get a bunch of gravy quests

 

Jet is a highly addictive drug extracted from brahmin dung. It slows down time for about 10 seconds. Use very sparingly though so you don't get addicted. I only use it when up against something that would ordinarily kill me, like a giant mutant or a deathclaw.

 

Like a fool, I set my luck to 1 starting out. Not a smart move. I'm LVL 7 now. I found the Cambridge PD but didn't get offered any quests. I went on the Constitution and talked to the captain and now I'm just walking around the city pretty much. At what
point do you get a robot suit and some nice weaponry?

 

Talk to the Brotherhood guy in power armor

He should offer you a quest - Take it and follow him

Once you complete that quest it will open up 2 different characters in BOS that you get sides from

Question - Are you just roaming and not doing quests? Roaming can be tough early on

 

level 42 here its the decisions im struggling with

How the hell are you at 42?

I have spent 4 *****ng hours trying to do the stupid *****ng Satellite mission. There is no way to kill all the mutants. OUt of health constantly. OUt of ammo constantly. Always super radiated, but no radeaway available. this game sucks.

 

Is this your 1st Fallout game?

Your problems sound like impatience

It's not a run n gun game - It can be once you level up and have a bunch of health and ammo

Early on - nip n tuck

 

RUBBERNECKER you sound like your getting way out of your depth, if your in Boston and only wearing your vault suit your pretty much toast. Did you do the quest when you met Preston Garvey and then did a few of the minuteman quests to level up and get
some decent gear? you cant just go off blindly in this game, its baby steps until you know what's what and you have decent kit. THat satellite mission is way to hard for a level 7, if enemies have red skulls over there heads then your not going to beat
them, at level 7 the most you want to tangle with are radroaches, molerats and raiders and maybe ghouls. Leave the supermutants alone dude, and even later don't go near them unless you have a decent weapon for short range like a combat shottie, or a decent
sniper to pick them off long range while staying hidden. You cannot win fights like this without a bit of thought and preparation. I did the Sattelite mission last nigh at level 16 and it took me about 20 minutes of sniping and the last enemy was close
range shottie but he was legendary supermutant brute and was tough, Your running dude before you have learned to walk.

 

@ Bizzaro some of the drug combos you can cook up are awesome! And if you have a few hit of Addictol in your pack you can get as high as you like without worrying about addiction! Result!

 

Yeah, I think I should just start the game over guys.

 

I'm visiting the BoS tomorrow night unless my family is forcing me to socialize at an early Thanksgiving party which I'm only lukewarm about attending.
