Game is very expensive on PC in my local Windows storefront

That's because it's not available on xbox app for pc

It's only available for EA play pro or ea play for pc or steam or epic NOT xbox games for Windows 10

EA dual entitlement is only available on consoles of the same storefront not pc

Forza isn't on PC anyway. Just get them thru the Storefront. Paintshop>Storefront>Find Designs for My Car.

Unfortunately it's not up to Microsoft who's sold on their store, and especially for the developers that have their own storefronts that they maintain 100% control of, they will mever put their content on any other PC storefronts. One problem that I think
the Microsoft store has for PC Gaming is it's DRM and incompatibility with mods for many games. Modding is such an important and integral part of PC Gaming, and I just don't think Microsoft has taken as profressive of an approach to this as storefronts like
Steam have, where you still have DRM, but the game's files aren't so totally locked down that mods/steam workshop don't have access. For the Microsoft store to really have any chance of developing past a storefront with a limited number of third party games
+ all first party games, it needa to expand how it handles it's toght control over UWP (Universal Windows Platform) apps and games.

Ok, so it is downloading, just very very slowly? Is this downloading to a primary drive or a secondary?

If it is downloading but slowly, can you check what your "Delivery Optimization" is set to?

1. In Windows 10 search bar, type: "Delivery Optimization" and select "Delivery Optimization settings"
2. if Allow downloads from other PCs is On,
   1. Click PCs on my local network, if not already checked
   2. Close window

3. If it is already Off or set to PCs on my local network only already, then this isn't your issue.

The storefront is not being shut down, Merely the ability to purchase things turned off.

Maintaining credit card security certification is extremely time-consuming and expensive and very likely no longer is paying for itself. Everything will be the same except the ability to purchase things. You can still purchase backwards compatible games through the Xbox one/series store but they won't transfer to 360
