    Game is not saving place when shutting down


    My system has recently stopped saving any progress when I stop playing. It used to save my place if I just shut the console down in the middle of the game, but now it always reverts to a previous place, and the same one every time, as if I now have a 'default'
    saved position. I have tried saving before exiting, but the same thing keeps happening. This is happening in Call of Duty Black Ops III and I don't know if it would do the same in other games.

    Dose this xbone have a screensaver?

    There is no screensaver, but energy saving options like turning of the console when not in use.

    But i have seen the screen dimming thing on my XBOX One and think it's a way of saving energy without shutting the console down.

    My energy saving is disabled.

    if you look at your network when the console is shutting down then you will find it is communicating with the server on shutdown, if you are not using cloud saving then make sure you have opted out of the Xbox improvement program as that will send data to
    Microsoft on shutdown.

    Not sure if
    THIS     still works, but if you purchase the 80k apartment through your phone, then immediately shut your console off VIA the power button, the achievement will pop before you shut down, the crucial part is to shut down before a cloud save takes place. Then
    when you turn your console back on and load the game, you will have your expensive apartment and your money along with the chieveo. Just make sure to get a cloud save after that.

    Unfortunately, your Minecraft application will close once you shut it down with the restrictions in place. Luckily, Minecraft auto-saves!

    As for waiting for the whole lot to shut down that's not nice to many people are out of work and finding it hard to get work with out other places shutting down.

    yes, as long as you don't have it on power saving mode, IF your power brick is OFF when you shut down, then its on power saving mode, regular stand-by an the console shuts off but the power brick stays on, << you are down loading <<
