Game is no longer showing up in my achievements/recent activity

Thank you for your response.

I have already removed and re-added my profile from my Xbox One, as well as uninstalling and reinstalling the game.

These achievements which have disappeared, are achievements which I have earned back in 2017 and the past year and a half.

Hopefully this issue is resolved, as I keep seeing multiple questions/threads being created with a similar problem for the same game!

Hi, I just wanted to put forward my experiences and suspicions; I have to play Witcher 3 offline (prepaid connection + 18gb update = no online play) and have noticed the stat tracker on the dashboard says
that I haven't spent more than 5mins playing, and, from memory, I don't have any achievements for it either (I got up to reuniting with Ciri...)

I play a few other games offline, like Deus Ex currently, but don't have this problem, sometimes it takes 10 mins for cheevs to pop and even days for them to show in the 'recent achievements' tab in the
sidebar. Some time ago I had an BIG issue with a Battlefield 3 cheev that popped but had a completely different icon to what everyone else I asked, and saw, had. It took 5 years to correct itself.

I suspect that its an issue with game dev and MS coordination during dashboard updates, along with devs seeing achievement tracking as being low priority, for most games. Witcher 3, I think, is different
as a result of internal process at CD Projekt Red. After launching Witcher 3 there was a big update required for which they copped a giant backlash, it changed the way they thought about setting launch deadlines and other development processes. I can see how
the 'little things' might've slipped past them and advise you to report your problem to them directly, so they can get on top of everything.

Just to be clear, I'm not bagging them, I loved the glitched out experience of Witcher 3, really enjoy the Gwent standalone and eagerly await Cyberpunk 2077 while drooling endlessly (2019 fingers crossed...)

This is indeed the same issue that I have with my digital copy of Witcher 3. It just disappeared off my achievement list 72+ hours ago and trying to look at the game hub for it on my Xbox dashboard results in an error.

Something seems very wrong on their server backend for some users, as my achievement list does not update with newly played games or track playtime stats at all. This is the second time in two months this has happened.

For the record, there is no problem with achievements unlocking (at least in other games, I haven’t played Witcher since this started). I get the pop up on my Xbox, phone and they show up in my games’ achievement lists provided i played them before a week
ago when everything broke. trueachievements.com also reflects properly.

Although I have already contacted CD Projekt Red and a suppose case has been raised, I think we have enough users and issues now which I can report back to them in order to hopefully get them aware of the issue.

I am going to share with them all of the questions/threads that have been raised over the past few days and will let you and others know of any updates.

We understand that there are issues with retrieving these achievements.

Another notice, a large amount of troubleshooting has been attempted. Looking through here, it seems there are multiple users experiencing the same situation.

A suggestion for all, has there been an attempt made to try following our
How to reset your console to factory defaults on Xbox One, please give this a shot and report back with any feedback/results.

We are aware of the issue and it is currently being tracked as we have noticed quite a number of people have been experiencing this same issue.
