Game is no longer showing up in my achievements/recent activity

Hey there,

I have come across an issue/bug which I have not been able to resolve, and I am wondering if anyone is able to possibly offer some help/advice.

I have a physical copy of The Witcher 3: GOTY Edition which I have owned/played for the past year. Since yesterday, I have noticed that the game is no longer appearing on the list all of my achievements/activity and my recent activity for the game seems
to have finished.

When I load the game, the achievements and my progress are view-able, it is only when I select and view the list of all of my achievements

I unlocked an achievement on the game yesterday, for which it appeared on my TV and the app on my phone. Still the game and the achievement seems to not be recognized on my profile.

I have contacted Microsoft Support on two separate occasions, for which I was told that they have no history or record of me even buying/playing the game which is bizarre. I was told to contact the Developers on both occasions.

Activity feed and achievement notifications busted.

My activity feed is having problems too, my recent activity from yesterday (screenshots, achievements and friend adds) is not showing up in my feed everytime I go to my profile, it's only showing activity from days and weeks ago

Can you help fix it for me please?

 

Missing rewards points!

my points are not showing up under my rewards. Online it only says i have one recent achievement and no point when I should have 4075. It shows no activity under pending. Gamertag:

Can you please provide us with a few more details about the issue you're experiencing? Are you connected to the internet with your Xbox One at all times? Have you noticed this issue happening with other games?

I am indeed connected to the internet at all times on my Xbox One.

The issue is only being experienced with this one game. It is very strange how all of my activity and achievements have been removed from myself and others to see but appears when I load the game via the disc.

I have removed/re-added my profile from my Xbox account, whilst also deleting and reinstalling the entire game from the disc.

Any other ideas?

 

Hi FGH Killzone. This is an issue I myself had a few months ago. Games would vanish from my played history. You may find more than Just the witcher is missing.

This happens on the back end of the xbox servers. It normally rights itself after around 72 hours.

 

This is most likely a temporary server issue, give it time, if after 48 hours you're still facing the same issue I suggest recontacting Xbox support.

 

I have this same issue. Started around a month ago. Whenever i play an xbox one game for the first time the game doesnt appear on my achievement list but a 360 game does. The achievements appear in my recent activity and i get the gamerscore though. Ive
spoken to xbox support today and gone through all of the steps and it still doesnt work. My gamertag is . Please can someone fix this.

 

You can also report this problem using the Xbox Insider Hub app so we can investigate it further:

1. On your console, install the
   Xbox Insider Hub app (if you don’t already have it).
   
2. Hold down the Xbox button on the controller.
3. On the power menu, select Report a problem.
4. Describe the problem in detail, including when it happened, if you saw any specific error codes or messages, and if you were using any specific games, software, hardware, or accessories when you encountered the problem.
   

 

I have tried all of the above and nothing seems to be working. I don’t understand why this is happening and has only started to do so this past month.

I’ve noticed quite a few people with this same issue over the past year and nothing has been resolved.

I would hope that it fixes itself shortly, as this is a game which I have spent many hours playing.

In terms of other games, I am not sure if any others are missing, as I haven't played that many on the Xbox One.

I did however check my profile today using the App, and my Gamerscore decreased by a few hundred, ignoring my activity and achievements earned yesterday.

 

Having the exact same problem as well as whatever new game I’ve started playing this month it just won’t appear on my achievement list.

Nobody seems to know what’s causing this issue

I will give it a few more days (72 + Hours) before reporting the issue using the methods you have described.

I have encountered other users that are also experiencing the issue that I am describing with The Witcher 3 and other games.

I do hope this issue gets resolved soon, for myself, AlbinoGymnast75 and other gamers that are experiencing similar issues.

I just thought I would write what I have done in terms of troubleshooting to try and resolve this issue, for which nothing has worked so far.

- Powered off the machine, unplugged the power cable and rebooted after a few minutes

- Removed and re-added my profile to my Xbox One

- Deleted and re-installed the game via the Disc

- Moved/Copied the game from my internal hard drive to my external hard drive

Although the game and the achievements has been removed from the Xbox and the official Xbox App, the achievement appears under the App 'Achievements for XBOX' however the game and my progress doesn't.

Just wondering if anyone else has other suggestions?

As for the record of Microsoft seeing anything it is a disc game so they wont see any of them details. As for the game itself not recording the achievement you could try to

Uninstall profile

then re-add it back. Also sometimes achievements take a bit to register to the profile itself. Me on occasion got a few achievements few days later on my console while I was playing a total different game.
