Game is above account's content restriction, but cannot choose parent account to give ...

This happened after factory resetting my xbox one, and now i cannot launch any game. I'm 15 years old and my own account is registered with my own age, and it is connected to my parent's account. Whenever i try to launch a game, the 'choose who will give
permission' screen shows up, but there is no choice for me to choose a account to grant permission. Now I can't play any of my games and it's very frustrating, even if the game is rated 13+(horizon 3), which i am clearly past that age, still gets the same
screen. Does anyone have a solution for this problem? Any help is greatly appreciated...Pardon my english, requesting help from Asia (Hong Kong)....

**Tried borrowing my friend's xbox one, didn't work. Also tried a new xbox one s since my family bought one for playing 4k blu-rays, still not working. FYI my old xbox was the Forza 6 Xbox One, if that's of any use...

When I try to go on some of my games it comes up with "choose who will give permission" and then says that the game is rated above my content restrictions, ask a parent to sign in and try again. So I sign in with my parent account and try again but
still it says choose who will give permission. So I go to my settings and then content restrictions, under account. It tells me that my access to content is appropriate up to age 15 and to change it I have to go to my parent accounts settings and go to family.
So I switch back to my parent account and go to family and my account isn't there, so I try to add my account by selecting add to family however once I put in all my accounts details it says that "another user on this device uses this Microsoft account, so
you can't add it here" . I have never had this issue before and it started yesterday, I have also tried hard resetting several times.

If your factory reset your Xbox One, it's likely you don't have the parent account added to your Xbox One yet. Try signing in with that account first to add it to your Xbox One. After it's added you should be able to sign in and change your parental settings

 

I have all of the accounts signed in... If you take a look at the top left corner, you'll see the parent account's gamertag and icon. However my parents did got a new account, but all the accounts are in the same family as adults. Is there some verification
needed? Also, I kept getting this 'Your content restrictions are in effect but cannot be changed before we connect to the service' message, but the console is connected to the internet, with a moderate nat type and my account has a month of xbox live left
if I remembered correctly. Also i've tried on my old Xbox One and a new Xbox One S (Thought the old Xbox One was broken), nothing works...

To clarify, did your parents reach out and change the parent account to their new account or is it still connected to the original parent account? If you're unsure, you may need to reach out to
Phone/Chat support to get a deeper look at your family account settings

 

Actually I don't think so. I think they just added the new account to the original family as another adult and kept the old one there. I'll try to reach out to Phone support soon when there's more time. Will let you know asap.
