Game invited from 360 to X1 nor the reverse not showing up for BC games.

I bought Xbox live for my 2nd 360 console (account was Silver) specifically for playing BC games with the family. But when you send a game, friend etc invite, nothing shows up on the X1 console.

I have to fire up the 360 () in order to accept friend invites, and forget about game invites from my 2nd account (360) because they won't go through.. The only way we can play BC 360 MP games between the 360 and X1 is via system link. And the
only way to get system link to work is by starting the game and then connecting the Cat 5 crossover cable.

Otherwise, the X1 thinks you're trying to set up a wired net connection.

This needs patched, as communication (Friend/Game/Etc invites) between the X1 and 360 is imparitive in order to play MP BC games via XBL.

Battlefield 4 Premium - Transfers in both directions?

We all know that BF4 Premium will transfer from the 360 to the X1, but does anyone know if the same holds true in reverse? Will purchasing Premium on the X1 allow you to download the DLC on the 360?

With the EA sale it's currently at £16.99 on the X1, but it's not showing as on sale for the 360.

 

Xbox live ending on 360 in 2016?

Yeah, but the point is that since they have made BC 360 games for the X1, the 360 servers will stay up a lot longer then they would have without it. In fact, it's possible the 360 servers may stay up for the life of the X1 just so the X1 retains the BC feature.

I know about the full list of bc games. That isnt my question here, so please refrain from diverting from the question at hand and try extra hard to comprehend.

1, communication between the 360/xbox one in the form of friend and/game invites DO NOT show up on the xbox one. Yet, they should correct?

2, Attempting to play MP match via BC games like Borderlands isnt possible via Xbox Live Gold bc the X1 cannot recieve game invites posted from 360 useres. Yet it should correct?

Make sure you are using the Xbox 360 emulator to send friend requests and invites on backwards compatible games (Press the menu and view buttons at the same time). This will bring up the dashboard. Notifications for friend requests and game invites will
not go through to Xbox One.

Umm... dont work, and yes. The console has the latest update.

 

Make sure you are friends on the 360. It will not work if you are not friends on the 360 platform.

 

If you are looking for invites from a 360 to come through on the Xbox One Guide, that's way you will be having trouble. You must be IN a backwards compatible game when the 360 sends a game invite for it to pop. Since backwards compatibility uses an emulation
of the Xbox 360 console, you must press both the menu and view buttons at the same time when the invite pops up. This will allow you to select the pending invite and join games.

Also, the BC titles do not always automatically log you into Xbox Live, so once again hit the menu and view buttons at the same time and make sure your 360 profile is logged in and connected to Live.
