Game Invite sound in Windows even when the app is fully closed

First, welcome to the Xbox community. As said by the member above the notifications are integrated into Xbox Game Bar, you can be disabling them by opening the game bar, in my case, I have the shortcut Windows+G configured to open, which is the default.

When opening her overlay click on the gear icon at the top of the screen, go to notifications, and click on mute notification sounds.

There are other options that you can also take advantage of in this menu, configure the way that works best for you.

it comes through gamebar, open gamebar and you can adjust the notification there, or open setting and adjust notifications for certain times. gamebar runs all the time in the background and the only way to remove gamebar is via a shell command but then that messes up the invite system then.

Hi there fellow gamer as it stands if you get an invite doesnt gurantee you access into the preview program, The july preview window is closed, next invite window is when the july update gets released to the public sometime this month.

that is normal since apps and some game have background process. (even when they are closed)

try disabling the background process of game and apps in you HDD

this setting is found in: windows setting>Privacy>Background apps

there you can disable the game and apps background activity

and restart your computer

note: windows store will not be able to automatically update these apps/Games if the HDD is not connected

Same here, even tried fully reinstalling Windows 10 for God's sake and now we're at the point where I can't even reinstall any games on the app. It has to be a Microsoft thing.
