    Game installs a bad idea?

Less than a year of owning the xone and the memory is just about full so it looks like I'm going to have to buy an external storage device! Do you think you should have an option to install a game ?

    :)

    Forza 5 Xbox store purchase

Go to the game tile, Click Menu, delete the game, and then install again. could be a bad download.

    Day one game updates

That isn't a bad idea. All you would have to wait for is the game to install.

    Game installs a bad idea?

I don't mind having to install them as i'm all digital anyway. I have all my games installed a the moment and have 80gb left. I will delete things like the games with gold games and FIFA 14 as they will be there to download as and when I want to play them
    again in the future.

I will buy an external HD at some point as its handy to have games on there and just take it to a friends and connect it to his console and away I go. With the amount of data for games now I imagine having a install help read data a lot quicker but i'm not
100% on that just what I presume.

I think it should have been optional. Fortunately i dont play alot of games at the same time any more due to time restrictions so it doesnt really affect me but I would rather have the choice as I buy all my games on disc and some i only play once a month
    approx.

Dont mind it personally, if it gets too full i would just uninstall games ive finished or pick up a external hdd. I think i read somewhere installing is required due to the sheer amount of data and running off a disc wouldnt be possible.

My HD was getting full AGES ago.

Even though it's advertised as 500GB there's only 324GB available for putting your games on.

    External Storage is wonderful though.

Seagate 4TB External HD more than manages my game library now.

    Game installs a bad idea?

I just delete games I have completed and either wont play again, or wont want to play again for some time. I have decent FO BB though downloads are quick and painless for me.

I was dead against game installs. Now I cant live without them! I don't know if its me being lazy but to be able to click a pinned game and it starts automatically without the need to find discs and stick them in is great (particually if I am playing late
and don't want to be fumbling around with discs waking up the wife and kids). Agree it should have been optional though. I have a 2TB external drive so its not an issue - but the costs mount up for people. I was lucky and found it second hand for £60 at cash
    converters!

^ Yes agree switching between digital titles is so much nicer. I just cant make the digital switch though as the pricing puts me off and being old I tend to forget the games I have if I cant see the box!

    I don't mind installs personally.

I've said before I think the fullest my hard drive has ever been is around 70% and that was only because I forgot to delete some old games.

I never have too many games on the go at any given time so I usually just delete older titles, if I ever want to play them again I just download/re-install, I can appreciate though those with slower broadband that this could be an issue.

I was tempted by the COD console with 1 TB hard drive but one minute I look and the design and thing it's ok, next it looks odd lol but once they release a white XB1 with a 1TB hard drive it shall be mine Game installs a bad idea? :)

If they stick with these £44.99 Digital pre-order/pre-load prices then I'll happily go all digital!

I did it with FH2 and just done it with Sunset Overdrive

Virgin just bumped me up to 150mb for free too, so d/loads are pretty snappy

    Game installs a bad idea?

I just hate the thought of wanting to play an old game and having to wait for it to d/l. Waiting for it to install off a disc is bad enough! No matter how fast your internet is a 40gb d/l isnt going to be instant.

Another thing that has put me off digital is haveing over 100 games on my 360 that i cannot do anything with unless I set my 360 back up. Even at a pound a go i could have got a few games for my next gen consoles.

I don't play the old games often once they are done unless it's multiplayer then I won't be going back to it and having to reinstall somerhing is a bit if a 1st world problem lol.

I've been gaming with in steam for years and have 140+ games so am used to not having to option to sell them on. I see the future as digital and my internet usage over the last year shows I'm well committed into it. I used 1tb of data since joining Virgin
    a year ago.

Didn't they make it install only because at the time you weren't going to have the option to share discs? Surely there could be an update that lets you pick what games you want to install??

If you don't want to fork out for extra memory then your only option is deleting games and then reinstalling them when you want to play them which is hardly convenient !!
