    Game installation stuck at 0%


    I've tried everything thing a hard restart resetting router everything but it stays stuck at 0

    Far cry 5 doesnt start installing

    when i insert the disc while offline, it does not even start the installation or it gets stuck at 0%.

    Just put in my brand new game into my brand new xbox one and...

    it won't install.

    I looked it up and xbox.com says to go offline if installation was stuck at 0%, which it was. I went offline and now it just says in queue. The installation won't even start.

    I put in bf4 and its at 50% now in offline mode.

    any help?

    Just curious... are having this issue with your "home console"?

    I can't download "Play Free This Weekend" and "Games Pass" games to my travel console.

    Hey all!

    This issue should be cleared up. If you're still having troubles, please give your Xbox One a full power cycle by holding down the power button for 8-10 seconds. If you're still having troubles after that, please let us know.

    Just bought the xbone tonight. The suggestion on the xbox support page works but it was still a little finicky for me. The important step is power cycling your console after you disconnect from the internet. Also make sure you dont cancel or pause the download
    before the power cycle and dont take the disc out either (whenever I did any of these things the install froze); you have to disconnect, start install once (it won't do anything but start the install anyways), and then power cycle. When the console comes back
    on start the install one more time and leave it alone until it is 100% then reconnect and update.

    Let me know if this works, I really hope this is the right method and not just random luck.

    Also, microsoft... in the future when you make your next counsel make it more user friendly... no one wants to sit here for and hour waiting for 1 game to install, personally I think that brought you a bit downhill from your xbox360..

    Okay, I had the same exact problem, and I threw a tantrum and restarted it over and over again, then about the 5th time after I restarted it showed up with 1%! :D Im so happy. I wish you luck :D

    Posted in a previous comment, the update comes before the actual install from the disk, which is why the frustration starts!!!
