Game installation stopped!?

just got the game and I’m trying to download it using the disc. It will start to download but stops once it gets to 2.46 gb out of 45 and tells me that it’s dirty or to get a new disc. I have tried multiple troubleshooting tips and searched many YouTube
vids but it WILL NOT WORK. Please help

Can't play my games, help!

I have signed in to xbox live and all my games have come up with installation stopped, I clicked on all of them to try installation again but no joy! It just go from 'installation stopped' to '100%' then to 'queued' then back to 'installation stopped'
I've tried disconnecting from wireless, restart then installing but still same error. Can anyone help so I finally start playing some games?

Just getting the Installation has stopped when trying ti download this game!? I have paid for this and it will either say Queued Or Installation has Stopped!? Help... whats going on?

Are you attempting to install on the Console HDD or an Ext HDD?

Also, if you just bought the game and it keeps given you issues with the disc you may need to go back an exchange the game

OK this was a Christmas present for me and I am having the same issue where installation stops the best I have done is around 60%. To give you all an idea of what I have done to rectify this; after the first couple of failed attempts I reset my console
back to an empty console hard drive and this did not help. I have tried just installing with no updates and with updates. After some research (google) I have gone to Settings/System/Storage/Clear Local Saved Games with no success, I have taken my console
offline done all the above and still no success. I even tried ringing support spent 30+ minutes on the phone and they were suppose to ring me back and still waiting for that. They suggested going to Settings/Disc & Blu-ray/Blu-ray/ Persistent Storage and
clear that 3 times, which I done, they even thought maybe my disc drive might be faulty but I have since installed Forza Horizon 3 from disc with no problems and still I can't install COD WWII I even tried again just prior to doing this post, oh and before
I go my step-sons have their own xbox one and also got a copy for xmas they hjad no problems installing their copy so I have even tried their disc with no success please can anyone help me as support doesn't seem to be able to or care. Thanks in adance

Hello Megan,

Thank you for keeping us updated. Is this game a digital download, or a disc game? If it is a disc game, the disc could be faulty if used. Let us know this detail and we will do our best to help you out.

I would also test out your console to see if it is capable of completing downloads. Cancel the download for the cars game. You can then try downloading a demo, or a free game like fortnite.

Curious, how long have you let it sit at 40%? I've had games do this occassionally, and I'll see it sitting still when downloading and not progressing. I've honestly just left it and did something else, and came back later (maybe a half hour) and then
it would be moving a little again. I'm not sure if maybe the specific file it's downloading at that time might be larger or how it works, but I've done that before. I would let it sit for a little bit and see if it moves, but if it's not moving after 30-60
minutes then yes try more troubleshooting. Good luck!

Hey Maxime,

Great! I'm glad the installation is going good now. I wouldn't worry to much at the moment until you experience any more power issues, like randomly turning off, or any problems with turning on. Just make sure to keep it plugged into where it is now and
keep it away from any other power strips. Most of them double as surge protectors since they are designed to handle a lot of devices and would need some kind of protection handling all those volts but the Xbox has it's own fuse to protect it so plugging it
into another one just causes an inadequate power supply to your console.
