Game install problem

Discus and support Game install problem in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I have tried to install new games including Dragon Age, Halo and COD:AW but the install stops at 4 or 5%.     Game install problem


    I have tried to install new games including Dragon Age, Halo and COD:AW but the install stops at 4 or 5%. I went back and tried to install older games i have(Titanfall) and they all worked fine. I have tried to disconnect from the internet and other solutions
    and none have worked.

    Game Install Problem!!!!

    Actually is better and faster to install games at your main HD. The installation block can be caused by many factors, online updates, impending files and so on. In this case is better to perform a hard reset and restart the installation again .

    Game Install Problem!!!!

    Ok, I paused my digital GTAV game last night a little after 9pm. I wanted to watch Netflix. Around 1am im about to head off to bed and go to resume the game. It was at 90% had 47.13 of 52. Something downloaded. I go to resume but it's showing the download
    like it resumed on its on. When I looked it said I could pause it. So, thinking nothing of it I went to bed. Got up 6 hours later to check on it and it was still at 90%, still had 47.13 downloaded. So, I try to pause the install but nothing happened. I got
    back to resume but it shows the "Pause install" when I look to the left of my screen in My games and Apps, where I can go from installed games, ready to install, installing....etc. it shows I'm downloading the game at the very bottom. While I'm looking at
    it I notice it says GTA V paused, 47.50 downloaded. When I go back to the main install screen it acts like it's still installing but has 42.13 downloaded. In 6 hours it didnt go anywhere. So, conclusion is that it had to have froze or something. I accidentally
    cancelled the install and am now restarting it. But, any clues on why it froze at 47.13 and said it was paused but said I could pause it at the same time? This really baffles me. Thanks for any replies.

    P.S Is it better to install to a external HD? Would it be faster or something?

    Problem with installing the game

    Apparently I can't edit my comment? But found this tip by Omnicide NZ at the bottom of this thread

    forums.xbox.com/.../2155359.aspx     which fixed the problem for me and let me download the game:

    "Okay guys my game works now what you have to do is uninstall the game and change your power settings to energy saving after that shutdown your xbox like full shutdown and leave it for a couple mins then launch it back up and go to the market place store
    page and press install from there not inside you games tab"

    I have xbox one. With the game ye resolt but the downloading no is very slow. and have many bugs the xbox store. I try a game and it's work better with the fps only after the last 3 gb xbox update i stay don't know what about the other games by the way
    the xbox stuff have to focus on the xbox one fps and the download speed

    Delete game from hard drive. Fully reset console. Install desired game. Works for me. I had that proble. With NHL 2016.

    Can you give some more information? What happens when you try to install it? Is this on the Xbox 360 or Xbox One?
