Game install issue

I have a live chat scheduled with them in the morning. Would have liked to done it tonight but had to go to work. Ill let you know if I get a resolution to this.

I just need them to be honest with me. If there is a problem, fine I'll cancel the download. I only bought it because it was so cheap.

I didn't have these issues last gen.

So far its working now took console offline and all of a sudden it started to download.Am guessing once done i connect my Ethernet back up and then the update will install

Have you also tried performing a power cycle? Hold down the power button for 5-10 seconds, then turn the console back on.

Just an update but I am actively engaged with our engineering team to see if there is something going on here.

As a follow-up, but have you filed a bug on Windows Feedback hub regarding this?

If not, please take a minute to do so

1. On your PC, hit Win + F
   
2. Click on the + Give new feedback button in the top right
   
3. Fill out the remaining questions
   
4. In the Category section, choose Gaming and Xbox and Game Installation

Have you attempted to Repair and Reset the Xbox App and Gaming Services? Please follow the steps below to help.

• Open the Settings app on your computer and go to Apps, then find the Xbox app.
  
• Next, click Advanced Options, then scroll down the list and click Repair (let it repair) then click Reset (let it reset)
  
• Now repeat for Gaming Services and the Microsoft Store.
  

Something else you need to check are the core services that run in the background which provide the Xbox app, and Game Pass all their functionality and connectivity.

• Next, open the Start menu, search Services then open Services. Scroll down the list and find all of the Xbox entries (they are near the bottom).
  
• Gaming Services (There are 2 of them)
  
• Xbox Accessory Management Service
  
• Xbox Live Auth Manager
  
• Xbox Live Game Save
  
• Xbox Live Networking Service
  
• When you find them right-click on them and select Start. If you can see that they are already running, you can skip them.
