    Game install from disc gets stuck


    I have tried to install new games including Dragon Age, Halo and COD:AW but the install stops at 4 or 5%. I went back and tried to install older games i have(Titanfall) and they all worked fine. I have tried to disconnect from the internet and other solutions
    and none have worked. It started not installing games from the disc when i got Wolfenstein.

    GEARS OF WAR 4, disc xbox 1 x wont install

    Hello game will not install it gets stuck at 17%. This is from retail on disc. Is this due to launch issues?

    Tried restarting and making sure disc is clean.

    Help!

    Games not installing. Please Help

    Bought a used xboxone from my friend and have been playing destiny for while no problem. I recently bought forza horizons 2 and tried to install it. after leaving my xbox on for most of the night it still was stuck with the update going from queue to install
    but making no progress. Steps I have taken to correct the problem:

    Uninstall

    Hard cycle

    Disconnect wired connection

    Install from disc

    Then install required update from online. It always gets stuck here. It got stuck again so i went ahead and did a factory reset. I then tried the same steps as above to no avail. It keeps getting stuck on the updates. After forza didn't install I tried to
    re install destiny. I am now experiencing the same problem on a game that previously worked. I am feeling very frustrated right now as my xbox is basically useless.

    Sorry to hear it. Do you have a hard drive attached to the console for storage? How much space do you have left on the console?

    Can you try heading to Settings>Disc & Blu Ray and uncheck Enable BD Live then click Clear Persistent Storage 3 times and then hold the power button for 10 seconds until it shuts down?

    When the console starts back up disconnect it from the net and try the install again.

    If you've wiped the disc clean but the scratches are still present then you may have to replace the disc if the game install keeps getting stuck on a certain percentage.

    incredibly slow disk installs

    i'm about 50/50 for digital games and disc games, but i haven't noticed any issues with installing from discs, last one i installed was Shadow of Mordor and i don't recall it taking more than 20-30 minutes.

    if it is stuck downloading updates, you can disconnect it from the internet and maybe that'll get it going.
