Game install freezing

Discus and support Game install freezing in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; Been trying to install Ghosts, from disc for 6 hours now.     Game install freezing


    Been trying to install Ghosts, from disc for 6 hours now.

    It always freezes at 93%, i've tried searching for help, but to no avail.

    Can anyone here help me? I'm getting FPS withdrawals.

    game uninstall & re-install

    Hi new to this, game keeps freezing, if I uninstall, then re-install will I lose progress?

    Game install freezing

    You may want to try unplugging your console for 30 seconds then starting it again. The installation should work perfectly fine after doing this.

    Hm. I've tried this. I've also tried a hard reboot of the entire console. I was also told that disconnecting the internet should also do the trick, so I not only yanked the ethernet cable, I also turned off my wi-fi router. This still did not work. I then
    figured I had a defective disc, and went to Best Buy and bought five (5) new Call of Duty: Ghost discs.

    I've gotten the error message that the disc is dirty or damaged on each and every one of the five discs so far. Is this just a junky, defective game? Or is the console itself to blame? It seems to have installed other games without a hitch...

    When you attempted to reinstall the game did you delete the installation from the system or did you continue it?

    Does the game consistently freeze around the same area in the game?

    Does it freeze every two to five minutes on a new game save?

    Did it freeze before the game was installed to the HDD?

    Skyrim Freezing Constantly

    I had to install the game on my system and it helped cut back thr freezing.

    It would still freeze every now and than if i played for hours on end.

    I would recommend trying to install it first and see if that helps or getting the disk cleaned. Since it is a big open world game that usually has a hand in it freezing.
