    if game update takes up your xbox one hard drive and if on line gaming is not important to you you don't have to update .you only can do this with disc games that can go offline. Internet required disc games can't do this and all digital games can't do this.
    the Xbox one x can do 720p tv's I ask Microsoft about this I playing fall out 4 without internet and no game updates if you have bad internet your xbox one can go off line .once you put your Microsoft account on your xbox one you don't need internet very much.

    can you tell me why the game keeps switching to connection in progress mode?
