How can I remove a game from an Xbox which will not turn on?

I have the Xbox launch model/ edition. Will the Xbox One procedure work on it?

 

Hey Bob! To clarify is this an Xbox One or Xbox 360? The link the previous agent provided applies to all of the Xbox One's, the eject button is on the left side of the console close to the disc tray.

 

This is an Xbox launch model/edition from 2003.

Manually eject a disc from Xbox One just make sure to unplug all cables from the back of the console. (for safety please)

This will manually release the stuck disc from the console, and if it does not you may always call in to set up a repair with a live agent.

Contact us

Make sure that if there is a repair set up to inform the agent so they may place it in the notes.

Once the console is sent for "Repair" and sent to a service center they will take out the disc and it would be sent back after 10 business days after you receive the console.

Hi, that would be the original Xbox if the year is correct, there will be a small hole next to the disc eject button, you'll need a paperclip or something fairly strong to insert into that hole and manually eject the disc.

 

If it is the original xbox one you may find it easier to remove the side panel vent on the side with the USB port to find the manual eject tool acess hole

Just to clarify, is this an Xbox ORIGINAL?

(the original Xbox with the giant X on the console with the eject and power button above one another on the front of the console?)

Can you clarify (Is this a 360 or Original console)

Because if that is the case and this is an Original console, there is a Manual release button in front of the console.

On the Right side of the disc tray, next to the eject button there is a small hole. Input a paper clip or similar item to manually eject the disc (make sure console is not plugged in).
