Game icon changes when moving to external storage

This is purely a cosmetic issue and does not affect game play, but I've noticed that some games seem to change their icon after moving from the drive that it was originally installed on to another drive. This happens for Madden 17, Gears of War 4, FIFA 17,
and Titanfall 2.

For most games, this does not happen, but I was just curious if there was a reason for it. If you uninstall the game and reinstall (in my case, digitally from the Xbox Store), the correct game icon comes back. I recently migrated to a larger external storage
device, and after moving everything over, that's when I noticed this.

DLC and Compatibility Packs not working.

If the DLC isn't being registered at all, the issue may come down to your current storage option. Are you using an external or internal storage device? If you're saving externally, try moving that content to internal storage to see if there's a change. Alternatively,
try downloading the content onto a different external device.

If you're using External Storage, I would suggest doing the factory reset PurpleNurpe referenced above, after unplugging your external storage and leaving it unplugged. After you factory reset, reinstall some of the games (specifically the Dark Souls), and
test to see if the issues arise. If you're using external storage, the games are likely not erased, which means if there is something corrupted that is causing this issue on the external storage, you could be seeing the issue pop back up.

If you don't have the issue using just the Xbox after a reset, then I would suggest formatting your external storage, and moving games back to it.
