Game froze, had to resign-in, now wants to start me all the way back at level 1 again.

Is there a way to bring back the lost save? I was like 75% done with the game when my game froze so I quit to Home Screen and now my save is gone. I don’t really want to start the game all over again, and it sounds like this is only a way to prevent this from happening again?

The exact same things described above have happened to me also. When I finally got to level 47 with only minor crashes, I thought that meant that the problems had been fixed. Unfortunately the game then froze and set me back to level 1 Again! This is a
Microsoft game and I'm using a Microsoft Surface, so I would think Microsoft could get this right.

I got mine reset yesterday and I will not be playing Gears to level up I lost everything. I am still very upset about it. I was a level 89 Green and I had 61 Medals there is no way I want to start all over. Its awful that nothing can be done to retrieve
what was lost. I am not looking for any wise remarks back or what I should of done to prevent this from happening. I just wanted to vent. I was playing horde on insane with my friends and the game froze completely when I restart playing Gears again everything
was gone.

When you prestige its supposed to go back down to level 1 and then you level back up again all the way to Master Prestige if you choose to do so. There should be a green emblem right next your level, if there isn't and its just a regular level 1 like when
you first got the game you might have used Fresh Start which resets your level and all your stats.

OK, got all the latest XBL updates and all the latest Skyrim updates. Started a new game under a different account. Had several 1 or 2 second black screens but they cleared up by themselves. Then, just a few minutes ago, my game completely froze. I was in
early level 6, simply exchanging items with Lydia. Had to manually shut down the XBox360. Sorry Bethesda, but your patch is bogus. My game played better than this back in Nov-Jan.
