Game from Games With Gold not showing up on new Xbox Series X

Everywhere (including all games even series x games show the new gamertag but in parties/chat, on the homescreen, in the xbox app, and in the system menus show the old one.

Because on my Xbox series x, it only shows 'Optimized for series x/s' but if a xbox series x version of a game is NOT 'optimized' how would i know if I'm playing a series x/s version of a game?

This response is partially incorrect. I currently have Games with Gold (downgraded from GamePass Ultimate about 3 months ago) and am experiencing the exact same issue with the SpongeBob game showing as $8.99 on my 360 as well as in the old Marketplace. The game is of course available for "Free" on my Xbox One X, Series X, and Series S...but I do not want to redeem it on the newer consoles (or the newer MS store) because it ties the license to Gold being active.

When Gold games are redeemed on the 360 (or the old Xbox marketplace) they are tied permanently to the Xbox user account whether or not Gold is active. This is why it is preferable to purchase/redeem the free games using the 360 (or old marketplace).

This appears to be a systemic error/bug of some sort. I experienced a similar bug back in late 2020 when downloading Armed & Dangerous & when using the new store link it incorrectly tied the game to my Gold account on Xbox One/Series, while showing that I would have to pay full price to "own" the license on 360.

I forgot about this problem until a similar pricing issue popped up with Spongebob. I was searching here for a solution before getting ahold of chat support since that can take quite a bit of time.

As I said I bought it on my Xbox one X and played it and had it on my catalog ! Now after checking on my Xbox series X it’s not there ! Even the add on game showed up but not the main game !
